The DuPage Narcan Program (DNP) provides Narcan and trainings
for first responders and community members. Community trainings provide an overview of the opioid epidemic in DuPage County, how to recognize and respond to an overdose, how to use the lifesaving antidote Narcan, and education on community resources.
Narcan Requests By Mail
Individuals who are at risk of witnessing an overdose can request a free Narcan kit through mail. A free Narcan kit is also available for pick up at various locations in DuPage County. Individuals must be at least 18 years of age in order to request and access Narcan through the DuPage Narcan Program.
DuPage Narcan Program staff will provide these individuals with virtual training on how to respond to an opioid overdose.
